About Us

Captain Evans, a USCG fully licensed captain for both the Great Lakes and inland waters, grew up on the shores of Lake Michigan in Frankfort during the 60s & 70s at the start of the salmon craze. He was fortunate to learn his craft from some of the areas top master anglers. 

Now Captain Evans shares the helm with his son Brent in bringing you an exciting fishing adventure on Lake Michigan in Frankfort during the summer and Lake Jocassee, South Carolina in the winter.

The CatPack is USCG and MIDNR inspected for your safety and your private party is welcome to ask any questions you like, learn how to set lines, or even net the fish if you wish!

No Fish - No Fee

They call it fishing, not catching! While the lakes we fish are worth the price of admission alone, if your party does not have an opportunity to catch a fish, CSF will rebook you for a future trip at your convenience, no charge.
